Cafe Brazil in Erlangen

In my experience, Café Brazil has the best "small" kitchen in all of Erlangen. There is an excellent standard menu with daily changing offers from a wide variety of cuisines, whether European, Asian, Mediterranean or Middle Eastern or your own fusion creations. There is always a vegetarian dish, one with fish and one with meat, usually even a vegan dish. The salads are to die for with different dressing options. My tip is the mustard dressing. There are also homemade cakes for every taste. I've been a guest on average once a week for years and have never been disappointed. There is no better place in Erlangen for value for money!

I went in to warm up because it was only 2 degrees outside, but they don't heat and keep the door open so it's just as cold inside as it is outside. if I have a cold now, well then ...

Price-performance ratio of the breakfast for 8.50 € is not right. The breakfast ingredients were not fresh, the rolls not from the bakery, some cheese was already. hard, fruit brown. The amount was not enough to really fill you up. When re-ordering a roll, it was clearly thawed because it was cold inside. I expected more, on the last visit I was still completely convinced. Too bad.

Great location for very, very many years and always ok, delicious! Simply great! An institution.

Good but not excellent food. Small dishes and salads are offered. The drinking was impeccable. Nice service.

A successful mix of breakfast cafe, pub and restaurant. Cozy, delicious dishes, also vegetarian and vegan. Street café in summer. Those who get one of the few seats outside in sunny weather can look forward to. Otherwise, it is also good to waste a rainy afternoon with a drink. Really recommendable, the classic café-bar in Erlangen.

The breakfasts are good. But there are better places The lady who attended us is very friendly and attends very well. The site does not look very neat. The truth does not seem cozy.

To the place as a cafe I can not say anything, since I was not here during the day. As a pub, the store is however not recommendable. When we arrived at 0:30 to four, the counter was not occupied. Upon entering the store we heard from the assembled "guests" in front of the store things like "Oh God, what's going on here now?". We waited almost 5 minutes in the shop and then asked another guest (also sat at the counter), if he knew where the waitress was. When he said no, we left. On the way out we heard from the group standing in front of it (where the waitress was probably smoking) comments like: "Oh look, your problem solved itself" and "That went fast". This led us to believe that the waiter was smoking in front of the store and did not want to serve guests half an hour before closing time. Will definitely not come back. Thank you for the hospitality".

A beautiful and pleasant way to start the day. For only the visit with you is enough. .... a freshly prepared breakfast and the coffee ..... Tasty really perfect and priced flawless. Will come back and then I have to taste the cake. CONCLUSION: Breakfast convinces and captivates by high quality at no price Thank you until next time ✌️

Ok, so first of all : Don't let the name deceive you. It's a cafe only if alcohol is renamed as coffee :D . In fact, even the coffee available here is from a small machine. The local Germans come here just to drink indoors/outdoors with their friends. Nevertheless, a small cup of coffee costs 2 euros and a large cup (too large) costs 2.7 euros. And it tasted good (not exceptional).

You know it's that kind of place you'd like to declare 'my living room'...and eventually you will. The occasional week-end breakfast buffet is tasty outstanding and rich. The staff is super on time, friendly and chill. I've written papers on one of the little corner tables, had great nights, even better chats, birthday brunches. Additional to the regular menu, there are three daily changing dishes (meat fish veg/vegan) always fresh and super tasty. Just a wonderful place to visit regularly....make it a habit...

Very good place with fresh products and careful staff, I'm enjoying fresh fruits with yogurt and honey ... Just awesome! Very good address, do not hesitate to come and have your breakfast!

What a sweet place, right in my neighborhood, great prices, high quality ingredients and so tasty. I love having breakfast at cozy places and this had such great atmosphere.

Food is mostly okay but salads could be improved. Drinks are cheaper. Service is always friendly. Older crowd comes in during the evening. Daily menu changes. Portions are moderate. Good coffee.

Good place to chill

Had their Advent special breakfast buffet. Diverse and interesting selection of salads which are rare in German cafes / restaurants. The barista was very professional and attentive. We were served orange juice the moment we were seated. Very much enjoyed our experience.

Nice little cafe to meet with friends and chat or simply have a good time. I assume it's a college cafe, it has the flair at least, but I like it ... Thumps up btw.: didn't try the food, but they have good beer ;)
